About Us
Welcome to our page! This year, we will be going to the University of Pennsylvania's Bio-Med summer program through the Ivy League Connection Program through WCCUSD. This blog will help us share with you our experiences, photos, stories, adventures, and new realizations that we encounter through this wonderful opportunity. Our trip starts on July 5, 2008 and concludes on August 2, 2008.
This year's Penn group consists of Susan Lee, Courtney Mariano, both from Hercules HS, and Cynthia Fong, from El Cerrito HS. We are being chaperoned by Ms. Patricia Crespo, assistant principal at El Cerrito HS.
We would like to dedicate this page to all of the contributors who made this amazing opportunity possible, and of course, to Mr. Charles Ramsey and Mrs. Madeline Kronenburg, whose constant support of us is undaunting.
We are very excited about this great summer opportunity and experience of a lifetime!

Great! Tomorrow, you will have a chance to settle into your dorm and meet new and interesting people. I am sure that you are excited about the chance to live on the Quad. The world famous housing for First year students.
I am happy that the plane ride went well and that your escort was there to greet you and take you to your hotel. It is nice to be able to stay right on campus. In addition, you will have a chance to meet up with Ms. Kronenberg who will join you for breakfast in the morning. I wish I could join you but I will see all of you at the end of the month when Bertha Romo arrives for the PENNCAP Program.
I know that all of you will do very well and I am certain that you will fit in with the other students. So take this time to learn about yourself and discover all the great things that UPENN has to offer.
